Last Saturday A Night In Brooklyn!

Last Saturday Paulie and I had the pleasure of attending Hasan Salaam's video premier party at the Public Assembly in Brooklyn. This was definitly one of the best events we've attended in awhile. With an amazing lineup of Guest performances, aswell as meeting some familiar faces in the crowd only made it a better evening. The video for "Angel Dust" itself was an amazing piece of artwork. Also we discovered a new dope artist by the name of Red Clay! Dude had an amazing performance! He did this song called "Boy Meets World" where dude raps his verses and sings his own hook!! An amazing new up and coming talent!! Also we saw an amazing display of the art of breakdance brought to us by the NBK Crew of Jersey City which were also past guest of Real Deal Women. Shout outs to Hasan Salaam, Rugged N Raw, Immortal Technique, NBK, plus many more people. As always peep the pics below as we have alot to share lol!!

Last nights Adventure to the Birth Place of Hip Hop!

Last night we had the pleasure of being invited to Guerrilla Republik's & Thor Takeover showcase featuring our peoples The Sargonites, Godhead The General, and Jesse James Figueroa. The place was one of the most amazing Hip Hop structures since my studio(Not trying to be cocky). It was at the Rebel Diaz Arts Collective in the South Bronx. Now outside this location we were greeted with the beautiful site of some classic early style street art that looked like it could have been on a Train a real long time ago. Inside their was so much artwork, there couldn't be enough pictures taken. The showcase started with a New Jersey group called The Nomads,a great way to kick off the show. Next artist was Marcel Cartier who spoke on many topics like haiti and such, great speaker. A poet came up whose name I have forgotten since but did his thing from what I heard. After the poet came our dudes The Sargonites. Now this group for what they do and what they say in their music is great, its real, very passionate, there's too many ways to describe this group. Their live show is simply something else, they've mastered their crafts like no other. The last act we seen was our brethren from the Almighty End of The Weak Jesse James Figueroa. Now the craziest part of his performance was his show CD was messed up so he had the DJ spin whatever he had and made due with his whole set. Some of the songs were performed off the dome the others seemed to be written. Jesse James energy and presence on stage is unmatched by any contending emcee. All in all it was an amazing show and I'm more then happy to have been invited as well as the rest of the team. Shout outs to The Sargonites, Godhead The General, DJ Soul Buck, Red Clay, Iz the truth of Guerrilla Republik, Majesty and everybody else that was in the building. As always see the pictures below!
